Today, The Annex is known for its beautiful brick homes, pedestrian-friendly parks and bustling restaurant scene. When you look back a few decades, the facade doesn’t change as much as you’d think, but there certainly are quite a few less sushi restaurants. In years past, the neighbourhood featured unpaved roads and hand-painted signs.
