55 west 17th liv room render

Last night, Toll Brothers City Living officially opened the model apartment at 55 West 17th Street. The stunning three-bedroom, 2.5 bath unit was on display, as were some of the building’s touted amenities.

55 West 17th Street is the developer’s new boutique, luxury condo located in the heart of Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood — known for its nightlife, myriad of eateries and bars, galleries and a wealth of entertainment choices, like the nearby Joyce Theatre, one of New York’s leading professional dance performance spaces.

The building was developed by Toll Brothers City living and was designed by the renowned architectural firm Morris Adjmi. 55 West 17th Street stands 19 stories and houses 52 units in all, ranging from one- to four- bedrooms. Its design was inspired by the architecture of the Ladies’ Mile Historic District, a famous stretch of shopping at the end of the 19th century that stretched from approximately 15th Street to 24th Street. Adjmi’s design incorporates modern functionality as well.

Apartment 504, the model unveiled, is a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath corner unit that boasts 1,934 square feet of living space. The model had plenty of natural light streaming in its tall windows, which overlook Sixth Avenue. The openness of the layout allows residents to cook in the kitchen, while simultaneously being able to interact with guests or family seated in the living room or in the dining area.

All of 55 West 17th Street’s residences feature open floor plans and wide-plank oak flooring throughout. Kitchens come fully stocked with a suite of Gaggenau appliances, a wine refrigerator and dishwasher.
