The goods are lovingly curated, so expect to find that perfect pair of boots that all your friends will covet.

Bar Fancy
1070 Queen Street West

It’s dangerous to live so close to such good food. Steps away, Bar Fancy serves up Southern-inspired comfort food. Nosh on oysters or sample a charcuterie plate with friends, or drop by for one of their most popular dishes: the crunchy fried chicken. It’s only $2 a piece, weeknights from 5 to 7 pm.

The Great Hall

The Theatre Centre

Another local hot spot for cultural activities is The Theatre Centre, a live performance space and arts incubator. On now until February 15th is Progress: International Festival of Performance and Ideas. The festival is produced by the SummerWorks Performance Festival in partnership with The Theatre Centre. In curatorial collaboration with Toronto’s leading performance-based companies, Progress presents global dialogues driven by local voices.
