The $35 million penthouse at 21 West 20th will (tastefully) knock you out
Steely hot Flatiron project 21 West 20th Street went penthouses out when it released its official site in September.
Now, penthouse listings are finally live for the 15-story building by Gale International, and they’re ready for their close-up.
Beyer Blinder Belle designed the facade of blackened stainless steel, glass and stone, while the interiors are by MR Architecture + Decor. Let’s run down the available maxi-units, starting with the show-stealer:
The Rooftop Penthouse, a customizable triplex asking $35 million, measures 6,910 square feet, with 2,648 square feet of exterior space. The three-bedroom, four-bathroom unit occupies the 13th to 15th floors; it’s tastefully accessorized with a three-story atrium with open stair, outdoor kitchen and barbecue station, office, lounge and pool.
Architect David Mann gives a video run-through below:
Penthouse 2, asking $15 million, is a 4,663-square-foot four-bedroom with a 525-square-foot southern terrace and east wing master suite.
Penthouse 1, asking $13.25 million, is a four-bedroom measuring 4,841 square feet. The “intimately zoned” apartment has twin terraces, “ample art walls” and a west wing master suite.
