53 Greene in Soho’s Historic Cast Iron District goes live with listings
Soho cast-iron conversion 53 Greene is on the market.
The six-story condominium in the Historic Cast Iron District has five full-floor residences, including a duplex penthouse, of course.
The two available units are both 2,771-square-foot two-bedrooms. They’re asking $6.34 million and $6.57 million. Residences have private elevator access, walnut flooring, in-unit washer/dryer and open kitchens with Gaggenau appliances, marble countertops and single marble slab islands with built-in wine coolers. The master and secondary bedrooms feature double-hung insulated windows, automated blinds, walk-in closets and ensuite baths. The master baths are fitted with free-standing soaking tubs, marble floors, warming towelbars and dual washbasins.
Berkley Acquisitions bought the property for $10.8 million in 2011 in an all-cash transaction financed by the Praedium Group, Real Estate Weekly reported. The seller was 8008 Realty Corporation, according to public records.
Brown Harris Stevens is marketing the building.
