Midtown East’s Halcyon has finally released interior residence renderings on the official site, and we’re having an eminently sophisticated freakout.
The 32-story, 123-unit development by HFZ Capital has studio to four-bedroom condominiums. Located at 305 East 51st Street, the glass and limestone building was designed by SLCE Architects. Pricing for available units ranges from $1.26 million to $4.71 million.
We’ve already reported on the renderings for the extensive amenities, which include a doorman, concierge, courtyard, 50-foot indoor pool with spa and sauna, fitness center with private training rooms, library, parking, playroom and lounge with catering kitchen.

And now, we talk about penthouses — there are two of these “townhouses in the sky,” which have expansive entertaining space, private terraces, wood-burning fireplaces and views of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. Other details include a “sculptural balustrade” and “sensuous marble hearth” that are “luxurious enough to beckon, yet quiet enough to let the skyline shine,” according to interior designer S. Russell Groves. Here’s a glimpse of those private terraces:
