A new Mississauga Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project is also in the works. A high efficiency east-west transitway across the City of Mississauga will be constructed and will include a dedicated corridor parallel to Highway 403 from Winston Churchill Boulevard to Erin Mills Parkway and beyond.
The BRT is expected to be complete in late 2015 with the 18 kilometres transitway boasting 12 stations beginning at Winston Churchill Boulevard in the west and ending at Renforth Drive in the east.
