Union Lofts readies for construction and releases new one bedroom suites
When a structure is repurposed into residences, the process is transformative and the new living spaces unique. Union Lofts, a project by Windmill Development Group, One Developments and Cornerstone Lofts, is bringing just 43 lofts to a stately former church and the new ‘vestry’ building next door.
The condo conversion at Wallace and Perth avenues is in full swing. With the sales centre closing in July to make way for construction, a new collection of one bedroom and one bedroom plus den lofts will be released this weekend. Starting from $299,900, each condo will also feature a spacious terrace or balcony.
The bright, open-concept spaces will also be home to the hardwood floors and Scavolini kitchens. Lucky penthouse owners will appreciate the through-floor lofts, which span from the south to the north side of the building and will flood the homes with natural light.
Outside, the building features plenty of green space and is grounded in a walkable neighbourhood with green space, such as the West Toronto Rail Path, nearby. Not only is the Bloor subway line steps away, but the area is serviced by GO Transit as well.
See it for yourself, Saturday, June 29th and Sunday, June 30th from noon to 5pm at 243 Perth Ave.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2014.
