Keep calm and stare at these new renderings from HFZ’s Halcyon in Midtown East

We’ve been thirsty for intel on glassy, serene condo project Halcyon, and now our cups are overflowing with new renderings from the official, fully launched site.

The complete site, which just went live, describes the 123-unit, SLCE-designed development’s “simple sculptural forms, rich finishes and soft, muted palettes.” The HFZ Capital project, located at 305 East 51st Street, will offer one- to four-bedroom homes with pricing starting at approximately $1.3 million.

Interior designer Russell Groves went for an understated effect at the 32-story steel and glass building, which sits on a base of warm Indiana limestone. “We believe the epitome of luxury to be one of ease and beauty, rather than overt extravagance,” Groves states on the site. “We carefully selected sublime finishes to both complement and add dramatic counterpoints to one another.”

And now, a rundown of the amenities: The lobby, a nearly perfect cube, is decorated with travertine floors, stained bleached walnut paneling and bronze trim. There’s also a library, courtyard, children’s playroom and a loft-like “Sky Lounge” that can accommodate a dinner party of ten or a cocktail party of 50 (that’s so Halcyon, doing the social math for you).

The gym boasts a juice bar and private massage room, while the 21st-floor yoga studio has double-height floor-to-ceiling windows. And we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the 50-foot heated pool, indoor sun deck, cedar-lined dry sauna and heated marble Aqua Spa designed to evoke a Turkish hammam.

We’re hungry for more interior renderings of the residences, but we’ll try not to be too greedy; Halcyon giveth, and Halcyon taketh away.
