HFZ Capital’s Halcyon in Midtown East will hit the market in July
Mysterious Midtown East luxury project Halcyon let slip a few more tantalizing details this week as it prepares for its July launch.
We already know that the SLCE-designed building by HFZ Capital will have 123 condominiums, with interiors by S. Russell Groves.
Now, for the new stuff: There will be two four-bedroom duplex penthouses with private terraces and three-bedroom duplexes with terraces on lower levels of the development.
The building will sport walnut paneling, travertine flooring and bronze detailing to catch the eye of well-off families and international businesspeople looking for secondary homes in Manhattan, according to The Wall Street Journal.
“As the name Halcyon suggests, the intent of the building’s design was to provide an oasis of calm in Midtown Manhattan,” HFZ founder and managing principal Ziel Feldman told The Wall Street Journal. “It will be very Zen-like.”
Amenities include a 50-foot-long pool on the 22nd floor, golf room, playroom, resident terrace with barbecue pit and gym.
Corcoran Sunshine is marketing the property. Let’s all stare at the hypnotic rendering:
