Halcyon construction crop

Today we checked in on tall, light and mysterious condo project Halcyon, which is rising like an exotic limestone-cladded bird at 305 East 51st Street.

The 123-unit, 32-story HFZ Capital development was designed by SLCE Architects and will offer one- to four-bedroom apartments. Condos will range in price from $1.5 million to $5 million. Amenities will include a concierge, doorman, common courtyard, residential lounge with catering kitchen, garage, package room, playroom, a windowed 50-foot lap pool and a fitness center with spa and sauna.

We’re dying for some interior renderings, but for now we’ll satisfy ourselves with the exterior on a sunny day (check that signage):

If i were the lender and/or investor to this project i would question if the developer knows what he is doing!
