Sun salute or downward dog: Strike a (yoga) pose with Minto’s 30Roe in Toronto this weekend
Roll out your yoga mat and get ready to breathe deeply: Minto is hosting the first of a series of yoga classes at the 30Roe sales centre at Yonge and Eglinton.
And like most good things in life, the classes are entirely gratis.
Starting March 2nd, the first Saturday morning of each month will see the centre transformed into a yoga studio where you can stretch, meditate and bliss out.
The classes will be headed by a certified Benchmark yoga instructor. Just bring your gear, RSVP here and Minto will take care of the rest. Extra details are available on the Facebook event page.
The om-sessions are a taste of things to come for the new 30Roe tower at Roehampton Avenue and Yonge Street. The amenity-rich structure will feature a massive, 6,000-square foot fitness centre known as Movement Haus, which will have a la carte yoga, spinning and Pilates classes available on site. You’ll never have to shell out for a gym membership you don’t use again. For more on the fitness centre, check out our Buzz Talk with Mark J. Stables, the founder of Benchmark Group and Movement Haus.
Minto recently broke ground on the 34-storey building and construction is moving forward. The collection of condos and townhouses start at $319,900.
