Baccarat living room Sales at SOM-designed Baccarat Hotel and Residences officially kicked off today, with prices ranging from $3.5 million to $60 million for apartments measuring 1,000 to 7,400 square feet.

The 50-story tower by Starwood Capital Group and Tribeca Associates will have 61 apartments perched atop a 114-room hotel. The residences, located on 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue across from the Museum of Modern Art, feature interiors designed by Tony Ingrao.

The one- to four-bedroom homes tout private entrances, custom bronzework “crackled with crystal,” floor-to-ceiling windows for maximum shimmer and a Baccarat chandelier hanging in the foyer of each apartment. The marble-drenched master bath has a free-standing soaking tub with glass-enclosed shower and radiant heated floors, while each unit is equipped with a Crestron home system to adjust lighting, audio/visual, heating/cooling and window shades. The SieMatic kitchens come with high-gloss custom cabinets, white granite counters and other jewel-like finishes, keeping with the project’s elegant-bling theme.

Residents will also have access to the luxury hotel’s amenities, including personal concierge and housekeeping, 24-hour in-residence dining, spa, indoor pool and gym. There’s also the intriguing option to combine units.
