Pacific Pt. earns the title of ‘Walker’s Paradise’ on Walk Score
Bosa Development‘s Pacific Pt. condo conversion project is situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, Canada’s most pedestrian-friendly city. So naturally, we weren’t surprised to learn that Walk Score, the official authority on neighbourhood walkability, deemed Pacific Pt.’s Yaletown community a ‘Walker’s Paradise’ (also a ‘Transit Rider’s Paradise’ and a ‘Biker’s Paradise’).
Input Pacific Pt.’s address on Walk Score’s website and you’ll see that the area scores an impressive 92 out of 100 (Vancouver’s average is only 78).
A recent Toronto Public Health study found that people favour cities and neighbourhoods where shops and services are within walking distance, school or work is a short commute away, and there’s easy access to public transit. And Pacific Pt. is close to all those things, including the Canada Line rapid transit line.
Down the street from Pacific Pt. is a Shopper’s Drug Mart, and within two blocks of the 28-storey tower is George Wainborn Park and David Lam Park. Neighbouring Davie Street is home to the Urban Fare gourmet grocery mart, as well as plenty of other specialty shops and services.
These neighbourhood amenities compliment Pacific Pt.’s ultra-convenient building, which boasts everything from a swimming pool to a fitness studio and yoga room.
All 214 homes at the waterside address are expected to hit the market next month.
