Fairground Lofts homes promise flexibility and plenty of customization

fairground lofts primaryFairground Lofts in Old Woodbridge Village has been one of the most talked about new GTA developments of 2012.

The reasons for its notoriety range from the reputation of Wycliffe Homes, the experienced builder behind the project, to its location in Woodbridge, the affluent community situated in rapidly growing City of Vaughan.

But Wycliffe offers more than just a place to live in a well-conceived community in an established area. The builder is also promising flexibility and loads of customization opportunities in the homes themselves.

Townhomes and bungalofts at Fairground Lofts range in size from 700 to 1,350 square feet. One of the most popular plans in the collection is the Kipling Lofts — available in sizes of approximately 1,000 square feet, priced from $384,900.

With the fronts facing the Fairground Lofts courtyard, the Kipling designs sport great views of the landscaping and park benches from floor-to-ceiling windows. The two-storey, two-bedroom loft is open concept (this is where the flexibility comes in) and boasts plenty of light and height. The second bedroom could be used as a den and the laundry and storage rooms are conveniently placed and are not intrusive in the least to the plan’s flexibility.

Wycliffe gives purchasers the option of customizing the design wherever possible. Want to make the top level into one large master bedroom? Go to it! Want to eliminate the open-to-above elements to increase square footage? Customization is encouraged at Fairground Lofts and who doesn’t love a little design freedom with their new home purchase?

Check out the presentation centre at 177 Woodbridge Avenue for more details on the project (and take a quick peek at some photos from our own tour before you go).

We’ve also heard that Wycliffe Homes will be co-sponsoring a holiday lunch for students at William Tredway Jr. Public School in Scarborough. The menu, created by Park Hyatt Toronto Executive Chef, Joan Monfaredi, will include turkey, macaroni salad, great veggies and dessert. Sounds like Wycliffe aren’t just good builders, they’re good Samaritans too!
