A Versailles-inspired co-op with ample nesting room, a library, chandelier and two custom-designed raised garden beds, all for the very reasonable price of $100,000? Sign us up!
Wait, we mean coop. As in chicken coop.
This six-figure Heritage Hen Mini Farm comes from Neiman Marcus’s annual “fantasy gifts” holiday catalogue. The custom multilevel coop includes a living room for night-time roosting, a broody room, a library with chicken and gardening books, two Heritage hen Farm pasture grazing trays, waterer and feeder.
The well-heeled, fowl-minded buyer will get an initial farm consultation and grounds survey, as well as two additional onsite visits from a Heritage Hen Farm expert who will handpick three to ten hens tailored for the area. The buyer also receives two vegetable or herb garden beds to accompany the posh poultry.
For every $100,000 chicken coop purchased, Neiman Marcus will donate $3,000 to The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, a nonprofit that protects genetic diversity through the conservation of endangered breeds.
Well, it is a noble cause, and you know how rich people feel about good breeding. More photos below:
