Space is the place at The Carlaw’s freshly unveiled Urban Towns
January 26, 2012

Earlier this month Streetcar Development and Dundee Realty unveiled 13 townhomes that will be built alongside The Carlaw condo tower in Toronto’s Leslieville neighbourhood.

Dubbed the Urban Towns, these homes are geared toward families or any person who needs a bit of extra space — and as we all know, space is the place.

What does that mean? Aside from having a nice ring to it, the phrase also rings true. That extra breathing room can be turned into something grand or allow for flexibility in how you use your space. For families, that space is vital in ensuring you aren’t cramping your kid’s style. It’s tough to raise children in a shoebox and that certainly won’t be an issue at the Urban Towns.

Like the The Carlaw condo tower, the Urban Towns were designed by the acclaimed architects over at TACT. The Urban Town interiors feature 9 foot ceilings, a gourmet kitchen with wood veneer, high gloss cabinets, quartz or granite counter tops and a grade level patio with its own natural gas bib connection.

When they feel like moseying on outside of their comfortable and spacious abodes, residents will be greeted by a central courtyard that boasts a reflecting pool, benches and a modernist glass-walled lobby.

The second floor will feature two large bedrooms with a shared bathroom and up another flight of stairs you’ll find the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom occupying the third floor.

We’re spacing out over here just daydreaming about all that space.
